1st Day: Galápagos arrival – Transfer to the hotel and visit to Charles Darwin Research Station.
2nd Day: Navigable day tour base on availability: NORTH SEYMOUR, SOUTH PLAZAS, BARTOLOME, SANTA FE, CHINESE HAT.
3rd Day: Full active day to Tortuga bay beach and Highlands (Gemelos and Tortoises in the wild)
4th Day: Transfer to San Cristobal island via speed boat ride. Visit to San Cristobal Interpretation Center and Loberia Beach.
5th Day: Navigable day tour base on availability: : ISLAS LOBOS, PUNTA PITT, KICKER ROCK, ESPAÑOLA ISLAND.
6th Day: Transfer to the airport.

Itineraries

Day 1

Galapagos Arrival at Baltra airport, Santa Cruz * Charles Darwin Station

When you arrive at Baltra airport, our guide will be waiting for you to begin the tour. From the airport we will board a transport that will take us to the Itabaca canal (approximately 15 minutes). In Itabaca we will take the public ferry to cross the canal, the trip lasts 10 minutes approx. Then we will take our private transportation to Puerto Ayora - Santa Cruz Island (approximately 1 hour). Arrival at the hotel and check-in. Lunch (not included). In the afternoon, we will visit Charles Darwin Station, where we can observe giant tortoises in captivity and learn about the breeding program of this majestic animal. Return to the Hotel. Welcome Dinner.

Day 2

Day tour by Yacht

On these boat tour days, you will first enjoy breakfast and then be picked up by your guide. You will get to visit one of these special places based on availability: NORTH SEYMOUR, SOUTH PLAZAS, BARTOLOME, SANTA FE, CHINESE HAT. Optional activities may include walking, swimming and snorkeling. Lunch will be served on board. After your exciting day you will return to the Hotel, Dinner (not included).

Day 3

Tortuga Bay Beach * Santa Cruz Highlands

In the morning we will take you to the renowned Tortuga Bay Beach to enjoy this white sandy beach and crystal clear water for swimming, snorkeling and kayaking. Return to the hotel for lunch and rest.

In the afternoon, we will take you to the Galapagos rainforest habitat to visit Los Gemelos (“Twin Craters”) natural volcanic formation at 400 meters above sea level, surrounded by a forest of “escalecía”, an endemic plant of the Galapagos. We will observe the different species of Darwin´s finches as well as Vermilion Flycatchers and, if we’re lucky, the elusive short-eared owls. Next, we will visit the Highlands of Santa Cruz to learn about and enjoy the majesty of the giant tortoises in their natural habitat. We will also walk through a lava tunnel with 100% volcanic formation. Return to the hotel. Dinner (not included).

Day 4

Departure to San Cristobal /Interpretation Center/Cerro Tijeretas/La Loberia

Early in the morning, we give you a box breakfast; followed by transfer to San Cristobal Island via a 2-hour speed boat ride. Our specialized guide will meet you to assist with your hotel check-in. Once you are settled, we are going to visit The Interpretation Center, a self-guided museum where you will learn about Natural and Human History from Galapagos. Next, we will head to CERRO TIJERETAS, also known as, “Frigate Bird Hill,” where we will be able to see two species of frigate birds, perhaps nesting, and enjoy the best views of Wreck Bay and Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, the capital of Galapagos province. There is also a statue of Charles Darwin for some great photos! Finally, we are going to swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of Punta Carola, followed by lunch (not included).

In the afternoon, we are going to visit LA LOBERIA, a beautiful coral sand beach where we can observe many sea lions and marine iguanas. We will take a short walk to observe the native flora and Darwin´s finches, finishing with your choice of relaxing on the beach or swimming/snorkeling in crystal clear sea water. Return to the hotel. Dinner (not included).

Day 5

Boat Tour

You will be picked up by your guide after breakfast. Based on availability, you will get to visit one of these special places: ISLAS LOBOS, PUNTA PITT, KICKER ROCK, ESPAÑOLA ISLAND. Optional activities may include walking, swimming and snorkeling. After your exciting day you will return to the Hotel, followed by dinner that evening (not included).

Day 6

Departure

Breakfast. Transfer to the San Cristobal airport.

Luxury Class

Our Luxury tours include the same exceptional service and itinerary as “Moderate” and “First Class,” the difference being your accommodation: Galapagos Islands’ most extravagant version of a Resort Hotel. All Luxury class hotels include a pool, hot tub, and oceanfront dining. Ocean views from individual rooms likely but not guaranteed. Luxury hotels may also include elevated decor, amenities, scenery and service. Being located in Galapagos, your hosts at GIA are very familiar with each hotel and their staff, and will always ensure that our guests receive the best rooms available as well as the most attentive service at all times.

First Class

Our First Class tours include the same exceptional service and itinerary as “Luxury” (including private guide and private transportation), with the difference being the hotel accommodation. Our first class hotels are beautiful, with most including pools, waterfront restaurants and water views based upon availability. Being located in Galapagos, your hosts at GIA are very familiar with each hotel and their staff, and will always ensure that our guests receive the best rooms available as well as the most attentive service at all times.

Moderate Class

Guests choosing our Moderate tours enjoy the same exceptional service and itinerary as “First Class” and “Luxury” (including private guide and private transportation), but with cost savings in the hotel accommodation. Our Moderate hotels are still very nice and conveniently located, just a few less bells & whistles (such as water views, pools and waterfront restaurants).
